Field trips serve an educational purpose and their value should be an integral part of the school’s instructional program. Field trips broaden the students’ educational experiences and are privileges given to students; no student has an absolute right to a field trip.
Students are expected to attend class field trips. Please speak with the principal if this creates a financial burden for a family. Students are not permitted to stay home in lieu of going on a field trip. They will be expected to complete written assignments at school that day..
Chaperones must have a BCI check and must have viewed the Safe Environment Program from the Diocese of Providence.
In order for a student to attend a field trip; an officical Diocese of Providence Permission Form (MEDICAL INFORMATION AND PARENTAL/GUARDIAN CONSENT FORM/LIABILITY WAIVER) must be signed by the parent and return to school by the designated date along with the required payment. (if required.)
NO EXCEPTIONS ~ Verbal permission cannot be accepted
Please see the SRS Handbook for additional information.
